I'm Tom Cummings, a US-based epidemiologist and consultant. My professional work happens around the world in global health and remote data collection. I'm also interested in computer science and web stuff, which I occasionally create some projects around. The name of the site - Nini Mo Tom - is a phonetic rendering of an introduction in the Sapo offshoot of the West African Kru language spoken in Liberia, equivalent to "call me Tom".

The entries on the front page of the site are - relatively - finished chunks of thought that won't change, while the stuff in the notebook is either off-the-cuff, work-in-progress, or are epistemically low-effort.
